My academic training
I have always studied in my country, Spain, in public universities. Since I was a kid I have always known that computers were my thing. For that reason when I finished high-school I decided to join the state open university cheasing that dream. After 4 years of hard work I got my first 3-year university degree. And after that, I combined my first working experience that paid my second 5-year university degree. From an early age I have always thought that personal goals must be achieved thanks to the effort and commitment of oneself and with an entrepreneurial spirit in the sense of having your own resources as leverage to achieve it. This has helped me to be able to face and solve the professional and personal challenges that life has thrown at me.
Some years after, I had the chance to complete my education in other knowledge areas and feel the international college experience with different teaching methodologies such as case study, lecture and discussion and with the top leading professors and schoolmates. The main reason that led me to this unique adventure was the desire to learn and develop in some fields of knowledge that I did not attend in my university education and that I needed to train to become a more complete executive.
I chose IESE because it is a top-level worldwide business school with a perspective aligned with my social, ethical, and environmental interests. The academic rigour of the Global Executive MBA program exposed me to real-life business scenarios from multiple angles to exercise the knowledge previously referred, such as: financial accounting, competition and strategy, managerial accounting, marketing, operational finance, global economics, negotiation, design thinking, supply chain management, corporate finance and many others. It was also possible to establish after classroom new social global links with people (now friends) with the same professionals interest from other industries and cultures. And I was able to contribute with my sincere and professional integrity and unconditional friendship.
I consider myself challenger because from the very beginning of my career I have alway set high goals and I have hard worked to achieve them. The maturity and motivational moment I have reached, inspire me to do everything in my power to seize new adventures.
Abstract
My professional background is deeply technical and I have become a referent in my area of expertise, onprem and cloud technology infraestructure. I also hoard a strategic vision acquired through the leadership of wide-ranging projects and by completing a Global Executive MBA at one of the best business schools globally.
